A Little Bit About Me
You have to start somewhere
I have had a passion for physical activity all my life. I grew up on a dairy farm and played several sports growing up. You could find me either on the soccer field or in the cow field. I enjoyed moving my body and being active.
Fast forward to 2005 when I started college and majored in nursing. The thought of dealing with blood and ailing patients pushed me to change my major to exercise science to become a physical therapist. After graduating I wasn't ready for four more years of school. So I moved to Raleigh and become a personal trainer at Gold's Gym. For six years I trained athletes, old and young, taught group classes, and was able to train individuals with special conditions. My clientele grew and in 2016 I left the gym to start my own business. I moved to a private studio gym and 95% of my clients followed me. In March of 2020 when Covid restrictions closed the gyms, I had a decision. Do I stop doing my job, my business, my passion , or reinvent and change it. So I trained my clients virtually until I set up my new training space in my garage.
Over the past 10 years I have gained the experience and expertise to train all ages, size, shapes, and conditions. My goal for every client is to be able to move every day and without pain. My speciality is individuals with chronic or temporary health conditions.
